Within the  Marketing & Communication department and reporting to the Commercial Director Belux, the Lead Generation Specialist is responsible for generating high-quality leads and driving business growth within BE & LUX . This role involves a deep understanding and study of the local market,  developing and implementing effective demand and lead generation strategies, identifying potential customers, nurturing relationships, and coordinating with marketing and sales teams to convert leads into customers according to set objectives. Your role will sit at national level and it will focus mainly on the Trade Credit Insurance and Business Information & Debt Collection business lines.

Job Responsibilities

  • Lead Generation Strategy: Co-create and execute regional lead generation B2B strategies aligned with overall business goals and objectives.
  • Market Analysis: Conduct thorough research and analysis of the target market to identify key customer segments, industry trends, and competitor activities.
  • Prospecting: Identify and engage with potential customers and partners through various channels such as cold calling, email marketing, social media outreach, events.
  • Campaign Management: Plan, execute, and optimize lead generation campaigns across multiple channels, including digital marketing, content marketing, and offline activities.
  • Collaborate with the Communication Manager to create content for different channels.
  • Lead Qualification: Qualify and evaluate leads based on predefined criteria to ensure they meet the requirements of the sales team.
  • Lead Nurturing: Develop and maintain relationships with prospects through effective lead nurturing strategies, including regular communication, personalized messaging, and relevant content distribution.
  • CRM and Data Management: Utilize marketing automation (Eloqua) and customer relationship management (Microsoft Dynamics / centrix) software to track, manage, and analyze lead generation activities and maintain accurate lead and prospect information.
  • Accompany the Sales Teams: Work closely with the local marketing and sales teams to understand their requirements, provide them with the necessary animation on products and services, support the development of new products with Regional Marketing.
  • Primary contact for External Telemarketing: onboard the call center agents and provide continuous training and performance analysis to insure a positive conversion rate.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), track lead generation metrics, and provide regular reports to management, highlighting the effectiveness and ROI of lead generation efforts.

Jouw profiel


  • 5+ years proven experience as a lead generation specialist or in a similar role, preferably in a regional or territory-specific context.
  • In-depth knowledge of lead generation strategies, tactics, and tools.
  • Familiarity with CRM software and marketing automation platforms.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret data and derive actionable insights.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Self-motivated and results-driven, with a proactive approach to problem solving.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and coordinate with cross-functional teams.
  • Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business administration, or a related field.
  • Fluency in French/English/Dutch required
